Women can be strong and sexy!
Jaena Mebane is a powerhouse of mental and physical strength. Measuring 5”0, 116 lbs., she has retained her femininity. A six-time amateur bodybuilding champion, she believes that being fit can assist individuals in pursuing their personal goals. “If you are healthy, the world is yours to command.” That motto has assisted her in reaching her goals.
One myth she seeks to dispel is that when women build muscle, they are going to look like men.” There is nothing in our body chemistry that will allow us to develop like one.” In order to stay healthy and reduce the effects of osteoporosis, including shrinkage, most women only need to do a moderate but consistent amount of weight training, balance training as well as stretching.” She believes that good health and fitness transforms lives and has seen women reinvent themselves.
Jaena has overcome many obstacles from joint pain to dealing with various women’s health issues. She has made fitness a priority which in turn has helped her to deal with her issues. Jaena not only trains because she enjoys it but she knows that if she did not train she would not “feel healthy and stay healthy.” She wants to help other women overcome their obstacles and feel good about becoming and staying fit.

One area that interests Jaena is helping teenagers develop positive body images. “I want young pre-teens and teens to understand that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and colors.
